Jewelry

This Tuesday, three days ago, I did a workshop on Jewellery and it was very fun. It somewhat remind me of Design and Technology from Secondary school. I went to get it yesterday due to having not enough time to get it on Tuesday, it ended at 6pm but the ring has to sit in the solution for about an hour. And I love the result it came out. It looks kind of rustic and antique kind of feel.

Interesting lines

The lines on my table are interesting somehow today even though it usually looks like normal lines to me. Must be the lack of sleep playing with my mind.... On another note. This mornings sun was really beautiful.

So today, the day started off pretty good. Woke up as usual, saw the beautiful sunrise color painted across the sky. I thought it would be a normal day until, my throat started getting a little too dry. Now this is a situation I am familiar with and I prayed I wouldn't get sick. But it seems that there was no point as I started developing mild running nose, cough and slight fever. Way to go virus, let's make me have three sickness in one go. Took the medicines already when I came home though I had to rush. It was peak hours when I boarded the bus. Hopefully I'll be fine tomorrow cause I can't get sick that early! School only just officially started last week and I caught the cough, flue and fever already! I'm a little muddled from the medicine that I ate so I'm signing off now, see you tomorrow!

Summary on TED: Tim Brown Tales of Creativity and Play

Creativity is inspired through the things that we play with. However, as we grow older, we play lesser and lesser and finally, we stop all together. This effects our creativity as without 'play' we can't widen our inspiration for creativity. This makes creating new stuff difficult as our creativity and imagination is small. From a young age, inspiration and creativity was with us. the games we played, be it board games or play pretend, it gives us lots of inspiration. When we get older, these things are considered embarrassing as we start to be conscious of what we are doing outside of our home. When adult mentality start to develop in a child's mind, the creativity and inspirational games we had dwindle. It got to the point where when we are older, the only creative part that we get to interact with are projects and post it notes. We have to stop limiting ourselves when we get inspired and create because what had stopped us when we were children? Start expressing our ideas freely even though it may not work. Don't limit ourselves just because we believe no one would like it. Everyone has creativity, it's whether or not you want to create it. 

1st Journal entry in a long time

It's been awhile since I last typed a journal. Maybe two or three year? My previous blog was too personal to be used for this class so I created another one. I hope I didn't get too rusty so.... Let's start! My name's Sayrle Tan Sing Yee from class VA1S. For now this is going to be my first post on this blog. Maybe tonight I'll post the summarized video of 200 words.
